On Friday, TAFA President Chaganla Balvinder Nath, General Secretary Sudhakar Rao Nadipalli, India Team Captain G. V. Manikanta Reddy, and AFFI (Mumbai) CEO Sandeep Chaudhary addressed the media regarding TAFA’s upcoming plans.

As part of its strategic vision, TAFA is set to launch American football and flag football academies across Telangana. Additionally, TAFA will introduce flag football in schools and colleges, ensuring widespread participation and awareness. This initiative is expected to create a strong talent pipeline for the sport in Telangana.

Known for his leadership and strategic acumen, Balvinder Nath has established a strong presence in both business and sports. His appointment as TAFA President is expected to bring new energy and direction to the organization’s efforts.

Balvinder Nath has been actively involved in various sports ventures. Balvinder Nath’s Vision for American Football in Telangana
Speaking about his appointment, Balvinder Nath said:
“I am honored to lead TAFA and contribute to the growth of American football and flag football in Telangana. So far, district-level associations have not been established. Our first goal is to set up these associations across districts and conduct training camps to nurture young talent. With structured coaching and professional training, we will introduce American football across Telangana, particularly in schools and colleges. This will help the sport gain popularity and attract more young players. In a short time, American football will become well-known in Telangana, and we will work hard to make the state team a strong contender at the national level.”

He further added:
“Chief Minister Sri Revanth Reddy has been highly supportive of sports, especially football. If we present American football to him, I am confident we will receive the necessary backing. We are also planning to host an international-level tournament at Gachibowli Stadium soon, which will bring global attention to Telangana’s growing sports ecosystem.”

With strong leadership and a clear vision, Balvinder Nath and TAFA are poised to revolutionize American football in Telangana. Through district-level expansion, school and college engagement, and high-profile tournaments, TAFA is committed to making Telangana a key hub for the sport in India
