Amrita Cultural Trust is proud to announce its upcoming event, “Natya Thoranam-2023,” scheduled for Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at the Kelika Indoor Auditorium of Taramati Baradari. This cultural extravaganza is a celebration of India's diverse dance forms and is dedicated to preserving and promoting these traditional art forms.

The event will feature captivating performances of various classical dance styles, including Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, and the unique Telangana ancient dance form, Perini. Renowned guru Sri. Kalakrishna and his team will present the Perini dance. Six expert-led dance groups from across India will showcase the beauty and grace of their respective styles.

“Natya Thoranam-2023” holds a special place in the hearts of dance enthusiasts as it marks the third anniversary of the Amrita Cultural Trust. This trust has been at the forefront of preserving India's endangered dance forms and introducing them to the world through technology and social media.

This event is a treat for all dance lovers, as entry is entirely free. We are honored to have Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished personalities such as Smt. Sumathi, DIG Women Safety Wing, Dr. Anuradha Jonnalagadda, Kalaratna Dr. Vanaja Uday, and Chavali Bala Tripura Sundari will also grace the occasion as guests of honor.

Bhargavi Pagadala, the Managing Trustee of Amrita Cultural Trust, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming Hyderabad Classical Dance Festival. This festival will feature traditional dance forms performed by talented dancers from various parts of India and will span over 2-3 days. Moreover, she extended a warm invitation to everyone to attend and witness the enchanting beauty of these traditional dance forms.

Ms. Pagadala also encouraged those with a passion for dance to explore the scholarships offered by the trust, enabling aspiring dancers to pursue their dreams and keep the rich heritage of classical Indian dance alive.
